Green Art Crawl for Earthweek

This week is Earthweek and Gastonia is celebrating by having a Green Art Crawl on Thursday 22 of April 4pm-8pm. With many different store and eateries taking part. We have several pictures that artist Dennis Shook has painted and one that our own vendor Renee Mathews has done. Come join in the fun.

Antiques Remain Downtown's Cornerstone



Katy-Did Antiques is a Downtown Gastonian icon. Kathy and Dennis Grinstead opened their antique store November 8th 2004 and were told over and over again that they wouldn't last. But last they have and in doing so have helped bring people Downtown for 6 years.

Harvest Time!

I don't know about you, but I LOVE Fall! The colors are beautiful, the leaves are falling, the temperatures are cooler...I love it all! The air even smells better to me! I love to cook and bake all sorts of goodies before the maddening rush of the Christmas season! I like the feeling of coming in from a walk and fixing some tea or cocoa and snuggling up under a big blanket.
